A Noble Attempt

Today was the first attempt for we 3 to go out to lunch at one of our favorite spots, Edgewater Grille in Newburgh.  Seemed like we had a great plan.  Feed slider, then go real fast before she got hungry again so we could eat.  She loves to sleep in the car so when we got there, got her out of the car and realized, that was not the case this car trip.  Wide awake.  So, we put her in her stroller and walked around downtown Newburgh for about 20 minutes until she was out.  Got in to restaurant, sat down, and that's when she woke up. I held her and rocked her to where she was content but lunch out was not gonna happen today.  We got an appetizer and had to box it up and take with us.  Got some subway on the way home, dropped Julie off and drove slider around for another 10 plus minutes so that Julie could eat before slider woke up since she fell asleep on the car ride home.  So now we are hanging out. All fed. One rested. Maybe next time we go out for lunch, maybe we can stay to eat.
